Tray With Jute Decoration

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Sky Blue 63, Sap Green 21, White 27 and Burnt Sienna 01, Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, MDF Wooden Decoupage Tray, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette . Scissors, Jute Thread

Description :

This tree decoration on the tray is done using jute cords that are so easily available. Just colour them in the appropriate colours as per your design and create a pattern on the tray of your choice

STEP 1
Take an MDF wooden decoupage tray
STEP 2
Colour the base of Acrylic Colour - Sky Blue You may give two coats for an even finish
STEP 3
Take jute cord Make about 30 small, medium and big circlebys coiling them tightly and securing the ends with No Stitch Fabric Glue Leave them to dry
STEP 4
Colour the coiled circles from light to dark shades of green made by mixing Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Sap Green and White Leave it to dry
STEP 5
Arrange and stick the small, medium and big coiled circles to form a tree onto the tray using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue Use jute cord for making the bark of the tree as shown in the image
STEP 6
Colour the bark of the tree by using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Burnt Sienna
STEP 7
Stick the jute cord for the background with Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue as shown in the picture.
