Create elegant handcrafted bangles using Mouldit clay, pastel acrylic paints, and ornamental stones. This easy 4-step project guides you through mixing clay, shaping and decorating with coils, painting in soft pastel tones, and enhancing with sparkling embellishments for a stylish, personalized accessory.
STEP 1 : Mixing and Shaping the Clay
- Take equal quantities of resin and hardener from the Mouldit clay pack.
- Mix thoroughly until the clay is smooth and uniform.
- Shape the clay into basic bangle forms, approximately ½ inch broad.
- Let the shaped bangles dry completely—this may take several hours or overnight.
STEP 2 : Creating Decorative Coils
- Take a small amount of clay and roll it into even coils.
- Stick these coils onto the dried bangle base to form wavy or geometric patterns using Fabric Glue.
- Press gently to secure the design and allow it to dry thoroughly.
STEP 3 : Painting the Bangles
- Apply a base coat of white Acrylic Colour over the entire bangle.
- Once dry, paint with Pastel Acrylic colours of your choice.
- Let the paint dry completely before moving to the next step.
STEP 4 : Enhancing with Ornamental Stones
- Use Fabric Glue to stick ornamental stones onto the painted bangles.
- Arrange them in your desired pattern and press gently.
- Leave the bangles to dry completely before wearing or displaying.
