What are the best paints to be used on fabric?
As the fabric undergoes different treatment through its life cycle like multiple washes, ironing, dry cleaning and more, we require a paint which is strong enough to withstand these processes. Fevicryl Fabric colours are the recommended paints to be used as the polymer is strong and it adheres to the fibres. Fevicryl Fabric colours are just apt to be used for one more reason which is that they don’t make the fabric stiff and retain the natural texture/ flow of the fabric. How to choose good fabric paint?
How to choose good fabric paint? There are many acrylic paints available in the market for painting on fabric, some brands being Fevicryl, Marabu, Pebeo, Faber Castell, Camlin and more. You need to check the one which works best for you. We normally do not require heavy body paints for fabric as low viscosity helps the paint to penetrate the weave and spread adequately. Some acrylic paints need medium for them to be applied on fabric. The things for consideration to buy fabric paint online are:

Tube paints have more viscosity as compared to bottle paints and require more dilution
  • Type of fabric
Natural fabric works best for fabric painting
  • Medium required
