Transform plain canvas shoes into stylish floral footwear with this fun and easy DIY project. Add a pop of color and personality to your wardrobe with hand-painted designs and custom clay buttons. Step into creativity and step out in style!
- Begin by preparing the base. Take a pair of plain white canvas shoes.
Using A4 white paper, sketch the floral design in the size suitable for the shoes.
- Transfer the floral design onto the shoes using yellow carbon paper.
- Paint the floral design onto the shoes using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours. Utilize colors such as Black 02, Dark Green 06, Golden Yellow 09, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Salmon Pink 65, Teal Blue 68, and Neon Pink 018.
- Allow the paint to dry completely.
- Prepare clay buttons using Fevicryl Mouldit resin base and hardener. Mix them thoroughly to form an even dough and shape the dough into two large buttons. Let the buttons dry, then paint them using Acrylic Colours Black 02, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Salmon Pink 65, and Neon Pink 018. Allow the paint to dry completely.
- Attach the painted clay buttons to the shoes using either a needle and thread or Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
- For convenience, we recommend using Fabric Glue.
- Allow the glue to dry completely before handling.
Note: Ensure all materials are fully dry before wearing the shoes. Enjoy your newly decorated footwear!
