You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Dark Brown 05, White 27, Fine Art Brushes, Cane Table Mats, Pencil, Ruler, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Description :
Here is a gorgeous set of painted table mats with Warli. Warli is a tribal art form and here we have used the same to depict celebration after the harvest.

STEP 1 : Painting the base
• We are going to make the Warli table mats to depict the Festival of harvest celebrated in different regions of India. The different regions of India called it by different names such as Lohri, Pongal and Makar Sankranti. • Take cane table mats. • Paint it with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry. • After that paint it with second coat of off white shade using Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01 and White 27. Let it dry completely. • Draw and paint the border design on equal distance using Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01 and Dark Brown 05.
STEP 2 : Painting the motifs
• Draw and paint a few traditional thatched roof houses on equal distance along with few trees using Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01 and Dark Brown 05. • Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Finishing
• Fill the space with other elements from Warli like the harvesting and the animals on the mat around the houses. • Paint the figures, the animals with Acrylic Colours Dark Brown 05. • Let it dry completely. • Secure the colours with a coat of varnish.
