Take a simple wooden rolling pin. This is going to be our base material on which our creation will be developed on.
Give a base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour – White 27. Let it dry.
Paint the rolling pin using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Turquoise Blue 22 and Cerulean Blue 32. Let it dry.
With the help of a white pencil neatly draw figures, trees and patterns in Warli style.
Follow the Warli pattern by sticking various size mirrors using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. This will lend the true essence and flavour of Lippan art.
Leave areas that can be painted in White 27, like few leaves on the trees and the pattern close to it. Refer to the image for guidance.
Tie a cobbler thread from the two ends of the rolling pin, fasten and secure with perfect balance. Drill in metal hooks to make this creation an art with utlity, for you to hand spoons etc.
