Tribal Kutch Design Bottle Art
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Carnival Kit, Fine Art Paint Brushes. 2 Glass Bottles, Tracing Paper, Pencil, Water Container, Colour Palette.
Description :
Transform ordinary glass bottles into stunning pieces of art inspired by the vibrant folk designs of Kutch. This project combines a simple painting technique with intricate tribal patterns, creating beautiful and unique decorative bottles that can brighten up any corner of your home.
STEP 1 : Sketch Your Design
- On a piece of tracing paper, draw your chosen Kutch-inspired design using a pencil.
- These designs are known for their intricate geometric and floral patterns, so feel free to get creative.
STEP 2 : Prep the Bottles
- Take two clean, dry glass bottles. Using a brush and the white paint from your Fevicryl Acrylic Carnival Kit, paint an even base coat on both bottles.
- Let them dry completely, this is a crucial step to ensure the colours pop.
STEP 3 : Paint with Vibrant Colours
- Once the white base is dry, place your traced design on the bottle and use a pencil to transfer the outline.
- Now, using a fine brush, start filling in the designs with the vibrant colours from your kit. Don’t be afraid to use a mix of bright shades to make your design stand out.
STEP 4 : Add the Details
- With a very thin brush, carefully paint all the delicate details of your Kutchi design.
- This is where you add the tiny dots, lines, and patterns that make the art so special.
- Take your time to get it right and let all the paint dry.
- Place your beautifully handcrafted bottles where everyone can admire them.
