You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17, Prussian Blue 19, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Leaf Green 62, Sky Blue 63, Fine Art Brushes, Triangular MDF Placemat, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Make these cute li’l placemats, painted with ancient art of Madhubani. The patterns and the bright colours are a characteristic trait of this beautiful art form,
STEP 1 : Paint the base
- We are going to paint the MDF placemats with artist rendition of Madhubani design with Acrylic Colours.
- Take 2 Plain MDF placemats in triangular shape.
- Paint the placemats with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 2 : Draw the design
- Draw 2 different designs on the painted triangular one with the fish motif and the other with parrots on it.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 3 : Paint the design
- Start painting the design using Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17, Prussian Blue 19, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32 ,Leaf Green 62 and Sky Blue 63.
- Leave it to dry.
STEP 4 : Paint the details.
- Painted the dotted lines to depict the water behind the fishes and the small leaves design using Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, White 27 and Sky Blue 63.
- Let it dry completely.
STEP 5 : Finishing
- Draw and paint few lotus motifs in the centre of the fish design using Acrylic Colours Crimson 04 and White 27.
- Let it dry.
