Make these best out of waste diy bottles with the traditional Tibetan mosaic work with mouldit to enhance the beauty of your home décor
STEP 1 : Source the base material
- We are going to make the Tibetan mosaic design using empty glass bottles of perfume and Mouldit.
- Take any empty glass bottles of perfume.
STEP 2 : Paint the base coat
- Paint the base coat of the bottle using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02. Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Prepare the dough
- Take Fevicryl Mouldit – resin base & hardener, mix well to make an even soft dough.
STEP 4 : Make the slab
- Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thick slab with rolling pin.
STEP 5 : Build the design
- Mark and cut the mosaic pieces in square shape from the slab. Stick the mosaic pieces on the bottle by leaving some gap equally using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
- Take some clay to build the ornamental design inspired from Tibetan Mosaic art with the help of clay carving tools to create the patterns and Fabric Glue for sticking.
- Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Paint the design
Paint the design on the bottles with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Crimson 04, Light Green 12, Teal Blue 68 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let it dry.
STEP 7 : Finished look with the clay work
- The mosaic work with the clay will look like this.
STEP 8 : Final look
- Your bottles with the Tibetan mosaic will look like this.
