Making the most of things that we usually and unmindfully throw away. Glass bangle pieces are substrates that can spin magic. It is a very useful base to decorate ad make numerous articles. Here is one that is rather inspiring. Decorated Tealight made it beautifully using bangle pieces and Fabric Glue.
Take Fevicryl Mouldit – resin base & hardener, mix well to form an even soft dough.
Roll the dough to make a medium thick slab using a rolling pin.
Take the OHP sheet mark and cut the broad strip measuring 8”x 4” in size. Make the cylindrical shape out of it. Take the rolled slab and place it around the OHP structure to make a similar shape. Secure the ends with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
Pierce the holes on the cylindrical shape tea-lite on equal distance. Refer to the image. Take some clay, roll it to make the coils out of it. Twist the coils and border the cylindrical shape with the coil using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
Remove the OHP structure from the inner side of the slab tealight after drying. Refer to the image.
Enhance the tealight by sticking the glass bangle pieces with the help of the Fabric Glue. Let it dry. Refer to the image.
Paint the tealight from the inner side as well the twisted coils with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27 and Cerulean Blue 32. Let it dry.
Your tea light with the pieces of glass bangles will look like this.
