You Will Need:

Description :
An array of colours of Fevicryl 3D Outliners on fabric to replicate a tapestry, which is traditionally woven in hand loom. A lovely home decor idea can be seen here!
STEP 1 : Draw the design
- Take A3 white paper, draw a design with flora and fauna measuring 12”x 20” in size, with one side ending in a triangular pattern.
- Draw the design in squares and rectangles.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 2 : Trace the design
- Take one meter of blue fabric.
- Mark and cut the fabric measuring 12” x 20” in size.
- Trace the same design on the piece of fabric with white carbon paper.
STEP 3 : Paint the design
- Start painting the design using Fevicryl 3D Outliners - Red 701, Blue 702, Yellow 703, Light Green 704, Orange 705, White 707, Neon Yellow 709, Neon Pink 712, Pearl Green 304, Pearl Blue 305, Cherry Red 316, Pearl Golden Yellow 308, Pearl Pink 303 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
- Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 4 : Final Touches
- Mark and cut the fabric evenly by following the traced lines.
- Take the canvas sheet and blue fabric.
- Mark and cut both in the size of the painted fabric.
- Stick the canvas sheet and the blue fabric piece, from the rear side of the painted fabric, by sandwiching the canvas sheet in between using Fabric Glue to secure the edges.
- Leave it to dry completely.
- Your final design will look like this.
STEP 5 : Final look
- Take the wooden stick and yellow tassels.
- Stitch the painted fabric to the wooden stick neatly, giving it a finished look, that of a tapestry.
- Finally attach the tassels to the tapestry.
- Refer to the image.
