Table Runner With Mud Tribe Art

Description :
Here is a beautiful table runner made using Fevicryl Metallic paints. The pattern is inspired from Mud art of Africa and gives that perfect uber bohemian look to your dining table.
STEP 1 : Source the fabric
- We are going to make a table runner with the Mud tribe design on it.
- Take half a meter black fabric.
STEP 2 : Mark and cut the fabric
- Mark and cut the fabric measuring 13” x 25” in size.
STEP 3 : Draw and transfer the design
- Take A3 white papers, draw the Mud tribe design measuring 12” x 24” in size on it.
- Trace the same design on the black fabric with white carbon paper.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Paint the design
- Start painting the design with off white shade made by mixing Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic Silver 351 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
- Let it dry completely.
STEP 5 : Fold the corners
- Your runner fabric after painting will look like this.
- Fold and stitch all the borders to make the runner measuring 12” x 24” in size.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 6 : Make tassels and assembly
- Take the cobbler thread to make the tassels. Take the tassels and wooden beads and attach to the runner with needle and thread.
