Stippling Landscape Design On Mdf

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Dark Brown 05, Yellow Ochre 26, White 27, Fine Art Brushes, MDF Round Coasters, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container

Paint this beautiful landscape on MDF wood using stippling style and giving the actual wooden slice effect a unique style to learn.

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take the 6 plain MDF coasters, we are going to make stippling style coasters with fir trees silhouette.

STEP 2 : Paint the base coat

Paint the coasters with the base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.

STEP 3 : Paint the design

Draw and paint the tree trunk circles on the MDF coasters using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01 and White 27. Let it dry. Draw a simple outline of the Fir trees and the mountains on the coasters.

STEP 4 : Paint the landscape

Paint the ground line and the Mountains and the edges of the coasters depicting the thick bark of tree by making the stippling technique using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Dark Brown 05 and Yellow Ochre 26. Let it dry.

STEP 5 : Finishing touches

Paint the Fir trees in silhouette style with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02 and Dark Brown 05. Let it dry.
