Description :

This fun DIY project features fruit slice trinket holders crafted using Mouldit clay. Each piece is hand-shaped and painted to resemble juicy citrus and tropical fruits, adding a playful and functional touch to your space.

STEP 1 : Prepare the Clay
  • Mix Mouldit resin and hardener thoroughly to form a smooth, even dough.
  • This clay will be used to create fruit slice shapes like kiwi, papaya, melon, and avocado.
STEP 2 : Build the Shapes
  • Roll the dough into a medium-thin slab using a rolling pin.
  • Cut out a round shape matching the size of your bowl.
  • Place the slab over the bowl to form a mould, then gently remove it once shaped.
STEP 3 : Make other shapes
  • Repeat to create additional shapes like papaya and avocado, adding clay edges and securing them with Fabric Glue.
STEP 4 : Draw the Details
  • Once dry, sketch the inner fruit details (seeds, textures, etc.) on each clay piece using a pencil.
  • This step adds realism and character to your trinket holders.
STEP 5 : Paint the Fruits
  • Use Fevicryl Acrylic Carnival Colours to paint each fruit slice with vibrant, realistic shades.
  • Let the paint dry completely. Your fruit slice trinket holders are now ready to use or gift.
