You Will Need:

This Christmas make these beautiful Snowman and Santa figurines from glass bottles using Fevicryl Mouldit.

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take two plain glass bottles.

STEP 2 : Prepare the dough

Take Fevicryl Mouldit – resin base & hardener, mix well to make an even soft dough.  

STEP 3 : Prepare the slab

Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thin slab with rolling pin.

STEP 4 : Build the figurines

Take a small plastic ball, cover the ball with the Mouldit slab to make the head of the figurines. Take the slab, mark and cut the over coats of the snowman and Santa, make the details of the figurines using clay carving tools and paste it on the bottle using Fabric Glue. Make few motifs like the x’mas tree, the gingerbread man, the candy stick, gifts with the clay. Let it dry completely.

STEP 5 : Paint the base coat

Paint them with a base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Paint the final coat

Paint the figurines, the gift box, the tree, the gingerbread man, the candy stick, with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Light Green 12, Sap Green 21, White 27, Flesh Tint 32, Sky Blue 63 and Pearl Metallic Gold. Let it dry.

STEP 7 : Final look

Place and stick the tree, the gingerbread man and the candy stick in the hands of the figurines with Fabric Glue. Let it dry. Your bottle figurines will look like this.
