STEP 1 : Source the base
None
  • We are going to make the pendant and earrings using the MDF and Mouldit with the Kutchi Bharat design on it.
  • Take the square MDF piece measuring 3” diameter in size.
STEP 2 : Paint the base coat
None
  • Paint the circle with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27 and after drying of white second coat with Acrylic Colours White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Sky Blue 63 and Teal Blue 68.
  • Similarly paint the other circles which are for the earrings.
  • Let it dry.
  • Pierce the holes further for the attachments.
  • Refer to the image.
STEP 3 : Draw the design
None
  • Take the painted square, draw the Kutchi Bharat Design on it.
  • Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Make Mouldit disks
None
  • We are going to make the design of the small, tiny circles with Mouldit.
  • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
  • Take the dough, roll it to make the slab with a rolling pin.
  • Let the slab get semi dry.
  • Mark and cut the tiny circles out of the slab.
  • Pierce the holes on each for the attachments.
  • Refer to the image.
STEP 5 : Paint the MDF and Mouldit disks
None
  • Take the painted MDF circles.
  • Paint the design on the circles by embedding the square mirrors using 3D Outliner Blue 702, Orange 705 and White 707.
  • Leave it to dry completely.
  • Similarly paint the tiny clay circles with Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Silver 351, Water Based Glass Colours Orange and Sea Blue.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Assembly
None
  • Attach the readymade thread attachment to the pendant using Fabric Glue along with few thread beads and black glass beads.
  • Attach the tiny circles towards the bottom edge of the pendant and the earrings with metal rings.
  • Attach the earring attachments neatly.
  • Refer to the image.
