You Will Need:

Fevicryl Fabric Glue Premium, Fevicryl Fabric Colour ( Black, White,Prussian Blue, Cerulean Blue, Violet), Pencil, Scale, Measuring Tape, Paper, Carbon Sheet, Tracing Paper, Fabric Chalk, Fabric Scissors, Barbeque Stick, 24 Wooden Rings (12”), Casement Fabric In 2 Shades, Buckram, Cotton Fabric (Black, White), Embellishments (Black Stone In Different Shapes And Sizes, Black Sequin, Black Beads, Black Poth And Cutdana)

Here is an amazing DIY of a Wall Hanging with wooden rings and fabric that has been made using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

STEP 1 : Source the base
  • Take 6 rings and stick them together
  • Use Fevicryl Fabric glue to stick them
  • Let it dry
  • Make 4 such bundles altogether.
STEP 2 : Pocket material
  • Take casement fabric, measure half of the ring and draw that on to the fabric.
  • Make 8 such pieces.
  • Reduce 1” from the straight side of the piece on 4 half circles.
  • These pieces will come in the front
  • The rest will be placed at the back of the circle
  • Make sure to leave 1 cm on all sides for finishing.
STEP 3 : Cut the strips
  • Measure the width and ½ length along the peripheri of the 6 ring unit and cut fabric according to the measurements.
  • Make sure to leave 1 cm on all sides for finishing.
STEP 4 : Make the set
  • For each circle unit you will have a strip, front half circle and back half circle.
STEP 5 : Stick the strip
  • Stick the strip on the rings as shown
  • Use Fevicryl Fabric glue to stick them
  • Let it dry
  • Do this on all the ring units.
STEP 6 : Attachment of rings
  • Take 1”x 5” long casement strips and stick them as shown in the image
  • Use Fevicryl Fabric glue to stick them
  • Let it dry
  • Make sure 2 diagonal ring units have the fabric part at the bottom and the remaining 2 will have the fabric on the opposite sides to each other.
STEP 7 : Final ring unit set up
  • This is how the set up must look once you have all the units stuck together.
STEP 8 : Finishing the pocket
  • Fold the edges as shown in the image for a good finish for the pockets
  • Use Fevicryl Fabric glue to stick them
  • Let it dry
STEP 9 : Base material for surface design
  • Take cotton fabric in various colours as shown.
STEP 10 : Tracing design
  • Trace out flowers and leaves of different sizes as shown in the image.
  • Use white carbon paper to transfer the design on to the fabric.
  • Cut them using fabric scissors
STEP 11 : Combining flowers
  • Combine the different size of flowers as shown
  • Use Fevicryl Fabric glue to stick them
  • Let it dry
STEP 12 : Cut the leaves
  • Leaves in different shapes and sizes
STEP 13 : Embellishments
  • Take embellishments like tikli, beads, cutdana, poth and stone in shades of black, grey
STEP 14 : Sticking on surface
  • Take the materials and stick them on the semi circles we have ready.
  • Make two sets of flower pockets and two of leaves.
  • Use Fevicryl Fabric glue to stick them
  • Let it dry
STEP 15 : Sticking of the semi circles
  • Stick the semi circles on to the ring units as shown.
  • The embellished pieces come in the front and the plain pieces go at the back.
  • Use Fevicryl Fabric glue to stick them
  • Let it dry
  • Take thick cotton cord and create a loop at the top of the ring units for hanging.
STEP 16 : Final look

The ring wall hanging is ready to be hung on ur wall and store books, pens,brouchers, keys, flowers, leaves etc!
