Here is a colourful inspiration for Ganpati backdrop! Made using vibrant colours this is surely going to stand out in the setup.
STEP 1 : Take the base
- We are going to make the backdrop for Ganesh festival with Psychedelic Mandala design pattern.
- We need 12” diameter for this backdrop.
STEP 2 : Draw the pattern
- Take A3 white papers, draw the Psychedelic Mandala design on it in the side of the round canvas.
- Take the round canvas, trace the same design on it with yellow carbon paper.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 3 : Paint the pattern
- Paint the canvas with shading effect using Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Golden Yellow 09, Maroon 14, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Sky Blue 63 and Teal Blue 68.
- Let it dry completely.
- Your canvas will look like this.
STEP 4 : Paint the coconut shell
- Take a small coconut shell, rub it with polish paper.
- Paint the shell with Psychedelic flower pattern using Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Maroon 14 and Orange 17.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Assembly
- Take yellow woolen pom- poms and stick it along the edge of the painted canvas using Fabric Glue.
- Similarly stick the painted shell in the centre with Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry completely.
- Your Psychedelic Mandala design backdrop will look like this.
