Description :

Make this beautiful DIY with plastic liquid soap bottle, which usually we throw away. We can up cycle few things lying around us and help our Nature to Nurture.

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take clean washed liquid soap bottle, we are going to make the elephant head with an empty plastic bottle of liquid soap.

STEP 2 : Base for the trunk

Take the tissue rolls to build the trunk. Cut the tissue rolls according to the size of the trunk.

STEP 3 : Build the shape

Join the tissue rolls together with masking tape and attach them to the mouth of the bottle using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

STEP 4 : Make the elephant face

Take the corrugated sheet to make the ears of the elephant. Stick the ears appropriately to the bottle with Fabric Glue, let it dry completely. Your elephant head structure will look like this.

STEP 5 : Stick the tissue paper

Cover the elephant head by sticking one layer of tissue paper with the help of Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Preparing the dough

We will be going to build an ornamental design on the elephant head with clay. Take Fevicryl Mouldit Resin base & hardener, mix well to form an even soft dough.

STEP 7 : Make the design

Take the clay and make an ornamental design for the elephant head,ears and the trunk using clay carving tools and Fabric Glue for sticking. Let it dry.

STEP 8 : Paint the elephant head

Paint the elephant head with the jail effect design along with the lotus motifs using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, BLACK 02, Crimson 04, Maroon 14, Sap Green 21, White 27, Teal Blue 68, Neon Pink 018, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352 and Fevicryl 3D Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Enhance the head by sticking a few red colour ornamental stones with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

STEP 9 : Final Look

You can pierce the hole on the rear side of the bottle further to hang it on the wall or any pillar of your house. Your elephant head bottle will look like this.
