Bring the elegant grace of Madhubani combined with beautiful Pichwai motifs in this DIY Tray.
STEP 1 : Source the base material
- Take a wooden tray and paint the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27 on it.
- Let it dry.
- We are going to paint the tray by combining two art form motifs inspired from Pichwai-Lotus and Madhubani -Elephant on it.
STEP 2 : Draw and trace the design.
- Take A4 white paper, draw the design of Lotus and elephant on it.
- Trace the same design on the tray with black carbon paper.
STEP 3 : Paint the design
- Paint the motifs and the background of the tray with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Light Green 12, Prussian Blue 19, Violet 25, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Leaf Green 62, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Neon Pink 018 and Pastel Peach. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Finishing touches
- Paint the Madhubani design on the body of the elephant with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02 and White 27.
- Paint the border of the tray with Neon Pink 018 and White 27. Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Final look
- Your tray with the combination of two art forms will look like this.
