Pichwai Art Bottles

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17, Pink 18, Sap Green 21, Violet 25, White 27, Leaf Green 62, Sky Blue 63, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Plain Glass Bottles (4 Different Sizes), Jute Yarn, Pencil, A4 White Paper, Red Carbon Paper, Scissors, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Description :

Don’t we all love painted bottles! They are such a lovely addition to our space. You can paint just about anything on them and they still look cool, and that is the beauty of bottle art, just like these Pichwai bottles.

STEP 1 : Source the base

• We are going to paint 4 bottles with pastel shades and the lotus flower design. • Take plain glass bottles with 4 different sizes.

STEP 2 : Paint the base

• Paint the bottles with the base coat of pastel shades of violet, green, pink and sky blue made by mixing little White 27 in it using Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03 Orange 17, Violet 25, Leaf Green 62 and Sky Blue 63 by adding. • Refer to the image. • Let it dry completely.

STEP 3 : Draw and trace the design

• Take an A4 white paper, draw the lotus flower design in creeper style on it. • Trace the same design of the lotus flower creeper on the painted bottles with red carbon paper.

STEP 4 : Paint the design

• Paint the design with Acrylic Colours Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, Pink 18 and Sap Green 21. • Leave it to dry completely. • Take the jute yarn. • Wind and stick the yarn towards the mouth of the bottle using Fabric Glue. • Leave it to dry completely.
