Mughal Motif Trays

You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Magenta 13, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, White 27, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Fine Art Brushes, Wooden Trays, Pencil, A3 White Paper, Yellow Carbon, Colour Palette, Water Container.
Description :
Festive season calls for some gorgeousness! How beautiful are these hand painted trays! You can use them as décor or gift them to friends and family too.
STEP 1 : Take the base
• We are going to paint three trays with Mughal motifs.
• Take A3 white papers, draw the Mughal floral motif in the size of the tray on it.
• Take wooden tray.
STEP 2 : Paint the base and trace the design
• Paint the tray with the shade of light beige colour made by mixing Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01 and White 27.
• Let it dry completely.
• Trace the floral motif design on the tray with yellow carbon paper.
• Refer to the image.
STEP 3 : Painting the design
• Start painting the design with Acrylic colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Magenta 13, Sap Green 21, White 27 and Deep Brilliant Purple 64.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 4 : Finishing
• After finishing the tray will look like this.
• Apply a coat of varnish at the end and let it dry.
STEP 5 : Making some more
• Similarly take two more trays with two different sizes which you have.
• Paint it with the base coat of light yellow and the peach using Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17 and White 27.
• Let it dry.
• Trace two different mughal floral motif designs on it with carbon paper and paint it with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Magenta 13, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, White 27, Deep Brilliant Purple 64
• Leave it to dry completely.
