Mother's Day Pendant

On the special occasion of Mother’s Day, this is the perfect gift that you can handcraft and make to gift to your mom. Shaped into a heart, with a theme that reflects a bond that is forever, makes for a great and thoughtful gift.
STEP 1 : Prepare the dough and base for the pendant
- Take Fevicryl Mouldit - resin and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make an even dough.
STEP 2 : Clay slab technique
- Roll to make a medium thin slab with a rolling pin.
- Draw and cut a heart shape using a paper cutter.
- Take some clay, and make a profile of a mother & child that is shaped and created to fit well within the heart. Use clay tools for ease and a good finish. This would be stuck over the heart in an aesthetic manner using Fabric Glue.
- Pierce a hole on the top of the heart, for the jewellery attachment to be fixed.
STEP 3 : Painting the pendant
- Paint the pendant with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Crimson 04 and White 27.
- Let it dry completely.
STEP 4 : Final touches and the ready pendant
- String in a gold chain to make the pendant wearable.
