You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black 02, Prussian Blue 19, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Sky Blue 63, Teal Blue 68, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Bronze 355, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fevicryl Modge Podge, Fine Art Brushes, Clay Carving Tools, Paper Cutter, 9” X 12” Canvas Board, Pencil, Paper Canvas, Metal Rings, Rubber Stamp With Mandala Design, Black And White Prints Of Poems, Scissors, Colour Palette, Water Container

A woman is strong and she is also ethereal! She is all things beautiful! Here is a tribute to womanhood on the occasion of International Women’s Day, a beautiful mixed media canvas.
STEP 1 : Source the base
• We are going to make the mixed media canvas for women’s day.
• Take the canvas measuring 9” x 12” in size.
STEP 2 : Paint the background
• Paint the canvas with galaxy sky effect using Acrylic Colour Black 02, Prussian Blue 19, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Sky Blue 63, Teal Blue 68, Pearl Metallic Gold 352 and Bronze 355
• Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Mix Fevicryl Mouldit
• We need to make a big clay engraved button with Mouldit.
• Take the Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 4 : Engrave the design
• Take the dough and make the round cookie shape out of it about 1 ½” diameter.
• Engraved and create the texture on the clay cookie with clay carving tools.
• Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Paint the button
• Paint the clay button with Acrylic Colour black 02, Prussian blue 19 Pearl Metallic Gold 352 and Bronze 355.
• Let it dry completely.
STEP 6 : Making the flower
• Make the flower earrings out of the paper canvas and the metal ring.
• Take the paper canvas mark and cut the leaf shape petals of the flower with a pair of scissors.
• Refer to the image.
STEP 7 : Stick the flower and the button on canvas
• Stick the paper canvas flower along with the clay button in the centre of the canvas using Fabric Glue.
• Let it dry.
STEP 8 : Assembly of the elements
• Take the metal rings and stick it below the flower shape with little amount of the clay and Fabric Glue to make it look like the flower earrings.
• Take printouts of poems based on women.
• Mark and cut the print randomly and stick it on the canvas with Modge podge Gloss by removing the air pockets neatly.
• Let it dry.
• Paint the circular design randomly with the rubber stamp using Acrylic Colour Sky Blue 63. Let it dry.
• Draw and paint the silhouette of the fairy with wings with Acrylic Colour Black 02.
• Let it dry.
• Refer to the image.
STEP 9 : Painting of the fairy and finishing
• Paint the other fairy on the topside corner in the silhouette style with Acrylic Colour Black 02.
• Let it dry.
• Enhance the poem, the flowers and the wings of the fairy with Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352 and Black 02.
• Leave it to dry completely.
• Refer to the image.
• Your mixed media canvas is ready.
