A lovely and attractive Madhubani Art design on your cushion covers like this would just complete fervour this Summer. These basic yet artistic fabric painting designs painted ever so beautifully on these cushions is a pleasurable sight for the eyes.
STEP 1 : Procure the base
- Take any plain blue colour cushion cover.
- We are going to paint it with Madhubani style Turtle Motif in a contemporary style using Fabric Colours and 3D outliner.
STEP 2 : Draw and trace the design
- Take A4 white paper, draw Madhubani design turtle Motif on it.
- Make sure to draw half of the turtle on the cushion cover.
- Trace the same design with white carbon paper.
- Refer to the image for the placement.
STEP 3 : Paint the design
- Paint the design with Fevicryl Fabric Colours Burnt Sienna 201, Black 202, Chrome Yellow 203, Crimson 204, White 227 and Salmon Pink 265. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Enhance the design
- Your painted cushion cover will look like this.
- Enhance the waves and the fishes in water with dotted lines using Fevicryl 3D Outliner White 707. Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Final look
- Your cushion cover is ready to use.
