Ludo On Tray

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fine Art Paint Brushes. Plain Wooden Tray, Pencil, Tracing Paper, Scale, Rolling Pin, Clay Modelling Tools.

Transform a simple wooden tray into a colorful and functional Ludo game board! This project combines painting and clay modeling to create a personalized game set perfect for family fun or as a unique gift.

STEP 1 : Procure the base
  • Take the plain wooden tray, a square shaped preferably for a LUDO game.
STEP 2 : Prepare the Tray base
  • Give your plain wooden tray a base coat using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White and let it dry.
STEP 3 : Trace the design
  • Once dry, use a pencil, tracing paper, and a scale to accurately trace the Ludo board design onto the center of the tray.
STEP 4 : Paint the Ludo Board
  • Use different Fevicryl Acrylic Colours to fill in the four main houses (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue).
  • Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Add the details
  • Once the main colours are dry, use a fine paintbrush to add all the small details, lines, stars, and arrows that complete the Ludo board pattern.
STEP 6 : Sculpt and Colour the Pieces
  •  Take your Fevicryl Mouldit, mix the resin and hardener well to form an even dough.
  • Sculpt the dice and the circular coins for the game.
STEP 7 : Paint the coins
  • Once they are fully dry, paint the coins and the dots on the dice using the Fevicryl Acrylic Colours to match the colours of the Ludo houses.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 8 : Ready to Play
  • Allow all the paint and clay pieces to dry completely.
  • Your handcrafted, all-in-one Ludo Game Tray is now ready for a fun game night.
