Description :

Create your own stunning necklace and earring set inspired by traditional motifs. Using a simple aluminum foil base for shape and Fevicryl Mouldit, you'll sculpt, paint, and detail your jewelry with vibrant acrylics and the metallic sheen of 3D outliners for a rich, handcrafted look.

STEP 1 : Create the Base and Texture
  • Curl aluminum foil to make the curved shape for the necklace base.
  • Mix Fevicryl Mouldit resin and hardener well to form an even dough.
  • Roll the dough flat and stick it onto the aluminum foil base with Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
  • Make three lotus shapes, two for earrings and one for the center of the necklace.

STEP 2 : Give the texture
  • While the clay is semi-dry, use motifs or stamps to impress a design and texture onto the surface.
  •  First, paint the entire surface of the clay base with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Paint the base coat
  • Once dry, mix Crimson Red, Burnt Sienna from Fevicryl Carnival Pack, and a touch of Red, then apply this rich colour mix over the white base to enhance the final coat.
  • Let it dry completely.
STEP 4 : Add Gold and Fine Details
  • Double coat the clay with a thin layer of Fevicryl Carnival Pack Gold, over the base colour for a beautiful, aged metallic finish.
  • Let it dry.

STEP 5 : Embellish with Outliner and Glass Colour
  •  Use Fevicryl 3D Outliner - Pearl Metallic Gold to carefully line the edges of the lotus design on both the necklace and earring pieces.
  • Fill the petals of the lotus motifs with Fevicryl Glass Colour Red for a stunning jewel-like effect.
STEP 6 : Finish the earrings
  • Fill the petals of the lotus motifs of earrings with Fevicryl Glass Colour Red and allow all the pieces to dry completely.
STEP 7 : Attach the chord
  • Take the golden assorted circular pearls and attach them at the end of the lotus shape and the open ends of the choker.
  • Pick the necklace cord and securely attach it to the two open, curved ends of the clay necklace piece.
STEP 8 : Final Look
  • Your beautiful, handcrafted clay jewelry set is now complete and ready to wear.
