Say it with a homemade rakhi this Rakshabandhan! A wonderful & simple DIY of a rakhi that’s made with different shapes of mirrors & Fevicryl Mouldit. It has been composed delicately with love!
Take Fevicryl Mouldit – resin base & hardener, mix well to form an even soft dough.
Take decorative mirrors in different shapes, like you see in the image.
Embed each of the mirrors into clay, and very neatly smoothen the edges to get a good finish. Make several such pieces.
String beads into a gold patti lace like you see in the image above, leaving sufficient space in between for the clay mirrors to be stuck. Paint the borders of the mirror using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic - Silver 351 & Gold 352, giving a subtle festive look.
Stick the clay mirrors in the space between the beads using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Also stick silver tassels towards the end of the rakhi.
Your rakhi made with all the love & affection will look like this attractive and beautiful!
