We are going to make the diya holder pillars with the design inspired from lippan art using waste tissue rolls or the cookie containers. We are taking few tissue rolls, chips and cookie containers for the same. Refer to the image.

Paint the base coat of Acrylic colour White 27 on all. Let it dry.

Paint the second coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Pink 303. Let it dry.

Draw the simple design inspired from Lippan art on each roll; paint the design using Fevicryl 3DD Outliner White 707. Let it dry completely.

Take the piece of the corrugated sheet, mark and cut small circles in the size of the tissue rolls. Stick the cut circles to close one side of the tissue roll further to place the diya on it. Painted design on the rolls and the containers will look like this. Enhance each roll and the containers by sticking assorted mirrors using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

Take prewashed terracotta diya to paint.

Paint the diyas with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27 and then with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Pink 303. Let it dry.

Enhance the diyas also by sticking few mirros with Fabric Glue. Take the MDF round placemat, paint it with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Pink 303. Let it dry. Stick the decorated rolls on the placemat as the pillars using Fabric Glue. Place each diya on the top of the pillars. Refer to the image. Enhance the periphery of the base circle by sticking few mirrors along with 3 D Outliner White 707. Let it dry. Your diya holder will look like this.
