Leopard With Kaleidoscope Pattern

Just the canvas for the wildlife enthusiasts! Here is a beautiful mixed media leopard with kaleidoscope pattern made using Fevicryl products. Read more to know.

STEP 1 : Draw the design
  • We are going to make a leopard design.
  • We are creating the kaleidoscope pattern on the body with a few sticking elements using Fabric Glue.
  • Take A3 white paper, draw the leopard design with Kaleidoscope patterns on its body.
STEP 2 : Trace the design
  • Take 10” x 12” fine art canvas board.
  • Trace the same design on it with a yellow carbon paper.
STEP 3 : Paint the design
  • We are going to paint few areas and enhancement in few areas with sticking elements.
  • Paint the design on the body of the leopard with Acrylic Colour Black 02, Flesh Tint 30 and Neon Pink 018.
  • Let it dry.
  • Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Stick the elements
  • Start sticking the elements like the assorted colourful beads, the mirrors and cut daana with Fabric Glue.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Final look of the Leopard
  • Your canvas will look like this after the finishing of the sticking elements.
STEP 6 : Finish the background
  • Paint the background with black border in Aqua Shade made by mixing Acrylic Colour Dark Green 06, White 27 and Sky Blue 63.
  • Leave it to dry.
