Laxmi Yantra Pooja Thali With Layered Lotu

STEP 1
- We are going to make the pooja thali with laxmi yantra in lotus shape with layers using Mouldit.
- Take the plain aluminum thali measuring 10” diameter approximately.
- Paint the thali with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 2
- Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 3
- Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thin slab with rolling pin.
- Mark and cut the outline of the lotus flowers starting from the small size to the big size along with the star shape from the slab.
- Let it dry completely.
- The layered flower of lotus will look like this.
STEP 4
- Paint each layers of the flowers with warm colours using Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17 and White 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5
- Paint the thali with radiating circles of blue colour and gold using Acrylic Colour Black 02, Prussian Blue 19, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
- Let it dry.
- Stick the layered flower in the centre of the plate with little amount of the clay and Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
- Take the small diya and paint with pearl metallic Gold 352 for the centre of the Lotus flower.
