A handcrafted canvas clutch adorned with intricate Kalamkari art featuring elegant peacock and floral motifs. The detailed brushwork and earthy tones bring a timeless charm, making it a perfect blend of tradition and style.
STEP 1 : Prep the Canvas
- We are going to paint the white canvas clutch with an intricate kalamkari design.
- Clean the clutch surface and make it ready for the painting.
- Paint the base coat of Pastel Acrylic Colour Cappuccino on it. Let it dry.
STEP 2 : Sketch the Kalamkari Design
- Take A4 white paper to draw the kalamkari design in the size of the clutch, we are making 2 designs one with Peacock and other is with flowers on it.
- Trace the design on the clutch with white carbon.
STEP 3 : Final look of the design
- The other side of the clutch will look like this.
STEP 4 : Paint with Acrylic Colors
- Fill in the design with earthy tones typical of Kalamkari art. Use fine brushes for detailing and let each color dry before adding the next.
STEP 5 : Finishing touches for painting
- Paint the outline of the flowers and the destails with fine tip brush. Let it dry.
