You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17, Violet 25, White 27, Sky Blue 63, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Teal Blue 68, Neon Green 012, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, 10” X 12” Canvas Board, Fine Art Brushes, 2 Dispo Van Syringe, Clay Carving Tools, Paper Cutter, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container

Make this mixed media canvas for the occasion of Holi Festival using the Dispo van syringe as the pichkari. Come with your own ideas to make this Holi festival even more exciting.  

STEP 1 : Paint the base

Take 10” x 12” Canvas Board. Paint the board in a shading manner using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Violet 25, Sky Blue 63 and Deep Brilliant Purple 64. Let it dry. 

STEP 2 : Draw the Rangoli design and typo

STEP 3 : Prepare the dough and make the shape

Take Fevicryl Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it well to make an even dough. Take the dough to make the pichkari shape on the dispo van syringe using clay carving tools and Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry.  

STEP 4 : Draw and paint the patterns

Draw and paint the patterns on the pichkari using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17, Violet 25, White 27, Sky Blue 63, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Teal Blue 68 and Neon Green 012. Let it dry.  

STEP 5 : Finishing touches

Take the syringe pichkari and paste it on the canvas aesthetically using a little amount of the dough and Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry. Paint the colour blobs towards the nozzle side of the pichkari with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03 and Sky Blue 63. Let it dry.   

STEP 6 : Final look

Your Mixed media canvas with the Pichkari is ready to display.
