Harvest Clutch

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Premium Fabric Glue, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour (Red, Black, Pearl White), Paper, Pencil, Scale, Scissors, Measuring Tape, Casement Fabric, Cotton Fabric (Pink, Brown And Printed), Embellishments Like Small Round Stones, Tear Drop Shape Stones, Chandla, Gold Sequin, Gota Lace, Mirrors, Velcro.

Here is an amazing DIY of a harvest clutch which has been made completely using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

STEP 1 : Source the base
  • Take 3 types of cotton fabric: printed, casement, plain colored as shown in the image
STEP 2
  • Take mirrors, gota lace, chandla, gold sequin, small round stones, tear drop shape stones and velcro.
STEP 3
  • Cut the printed and plain cotton fabric into random square and rectangular pieces as seen in the image.
  • Use fabric scissors to cut them.
STEP 4
  • Take cotton casement fabric measuring 11inch x 10 inch
STEP 5
  • Fold the sides of the fabric on all sides: 1 inch on the top and bottom,0.5 inch on the sides as shown.
  • Fold the fabric into half to create a crease in the middle
  • To create the top flap of the clutch, fold at 3 inch from the top.
STEP 6
  • Stick the cut out pieces on one side top of the base fabric as shown.
  • This work will come within the 3inch flap fold
  • Stick them using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
STEP 7
  • Fold the excess patch sides on the the side folds and stick them
  • Fold the sides and stick them as well
  • Stick using Fevicryl Fabric Glue
  • Let it dry
STEP 8
  • Cut the inner fabric with the same measurements as the outer and reduce 0.2 inch on all the sides .
STEP 9
  • Make the folds exactly like the outer pouch.
  • Fold the top fold outwards instead of inwards as seen in the image
STEP 10
  • Place the inner pouch/layer in the outer pouch/layer and stick all the sides
  • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick it
  • Let it dry
STEP 11
  • Fold the top part as shown.
  • Make sure to not stick the opening as it is a clutch in the making.
STEP 12
  • Take the embellishments and stick them on the flap as shown in the image
  • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them
  • Use Fevicryl 3D outliner Red to outline the pink patches as seen
  • Let it all dry
STEP 13
  • Open the flap and stick gota lace and tear drop stones on the inner side as shown in the image.
  • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them
  • Let it dry
STEP 14
  • Finally outline the printed patches with fevicryl 3d outliner (black + pearl white) as shown in the image
  • Let it dry
  • Stick velcro inside the flaps using Fevicryl Fabric Glue
  • Let it dry.
STEP 15

The harvest clutch is ready to be paired with your sankranti/pongal attire!
