Navratris cannot be complete without a decorated Garbha! Here is DIY Garbha inspired from Marble art of Rajasthan. Read more to learn how we made this.

STEP 1 : Source the base
  • We are going to make the Garba Pot for Navaratri inspired from the marble art.
  • Take the pre washed terracotta pot.
STEP 2 : Paint the pot
  • Paint the pot with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Draw the design
  • Take A4 white paper, draw the design inspired from minakari marble art in the size of the periphery of the pot as well as the lid.
  • Trace the same design on the pot with red carbon paper.
STEP 4 : Paint the design
  • Paint the design with Acrylic Colour Crimson 04.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Add glass colours
  • Paint the design using Water Based Glass Colour Tomato Red and Pearl Metalic Gold 352.
  • Leave it to dry.
STEP 6 : Decorate the pot
  • Paint the ornamental design with 3 D Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold 352 embedding the kundan in 3D and a few kundan stuck with Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry.
  • Paint the Ornamental design with 3 D Outliner White 707 with tone on tone technique.
  • Let it dry Completely.
