Ganesha Wall Decor
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black 02, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Bronze 355, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Wooden Plank 18” X 2 ½”, Ruler, Paper Cutter, Clay Carving Tools, Rolling Pin, Colour Palette, Water Container .
Description :
This Ganesha wall décor is so lovely! Make this for the upcoming festivals to give a festive look to your décor.
STEP 1 : Mixing Fevicryl Mouldit
• We are going to make the Ganesha wall décor using Mouldit.
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Roll the dough
• Take the dough; roll it to make the medium thin slab with a rolling pin.
• Let it get semi dry.
STEP 3 : Cut a slab
• Mark and cut the slab measuring 4” x 4” in size.
STEP 4 : Creating texture
• Create the texture on the slab to give the effect of the laterite stone effect with clay carving tools.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 5 : Making Ganesha
• Take some clay to make the simple form of Ganesha using the pinching and coil technique.
• Stick the body parts together neatly using Fabric Glue.
• Use clay carving tools to make the details on the crown and jewellery.
STEP 6 : Sticking the Ganesha on the slab
• Stick the Ganesha idol on the textured slab using Fabric Glue.
• Let it dry completely.
STEP 7 : Making multiple Ganesha
• Similarly make two more Ganesha and stick on the textured slab with Fabric Glue.
• Let it dry.
• Refer to the image.
STEP 8 : Painting the base and Ganesha
• Paint the slab with Ganesha using Acrylic Colour Black 02 and Pearl Metallic Bronze 355.
• Leave it to dry completely.
• Take the wooden plank measuring 18” X 2 ½” in size and stick the Ganesha slab on it using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
