Lohri the festival of harvest is celebrated with aplomb all over northern part of India. Here are some magnets to get into the celebratory spirit made with Fevicryl Mouldit. Read more to learn how you can make them too.
STEP 1 : Mix Fevicryl Mouldit
- We are going to make the Fridge Magnet for the Festival of Baisakhi with men doing Bhangra Dance using Mouldit.
- Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Roll the dough
- Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thin slab with rolling pin.
STEP 3 : Draw and cut the outline of the men
- Draw and cut the outline of the men figure with a paper cutter.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Paint the base coat
- Paint the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Paint the figures
- Paint the figures with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna, Black, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Orange, Pink 18, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Neon Green 012 and Neon Orange 018.
- Leave it to dry completely.
- Attach and stick the magnet from the rear side with little amount of the clay and Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
