Give your old wooden tray a new life with a splash of color! This simple DIY project can add a touch of personality to your home. Grab some paint and transform a plain tray into a stunning centerpiece.

STEP 1 : Procure the Base

We will paint a plain tray of 8" X 12” size with a trending floral design.

STEP 2 : Draw and trace the design

Take an A4-size paper the same size as the tray.

Draw the floral design on the paper.

Trace the same design on the tray with yellow carbon paper.

STEP 3 : Paint the Design

Start painting the flowers in a shading technique with Acrylic Colours Coral Red, Golden Yellow, Cerulean Blue, Sap Green, White, and other colours of your choice.

STEP 4 : Add the finishing touches

Paint the remaining background spaces with tiny flowers using deep brilliant purple to make the design look complete.

STEP 5 : Final look

After finishing, your plain tray will look like a decorative piece.

You can also use it as a wall hanging.
