STEP 1 : Procure the base & trace the design
  • We are going to paint the Kurti with flora and fauna motifs, replicating the kantha stitch effect using Fabric Colours.
  • Take a plain green kurti.
  • On A3 white paper, draw the flora and fauna design, including birds, flowers, and creepers.
  • Trace the design onto the kurti using white or black carbon paper.
STEP 2 : Paint the design
  • Paint the design with dotted lines inspired by kantha embroidery using Fevicryl Fabric Colours - Black 202, Chrome Yellow 203, Crimson 204, Light Green 212, Orange 217, White 227, Leaf Green 262, Sky Blue 263, and Acrylic Colour Neon Pink 018. Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Final look
