Make these usable Fabric Coaster with the waste fabric around you and help to upcycle the things around you.
STEP 1 : Source the base material
- Take an off-white casement fabric and Canvas sheet to make the coaster base.
STEP 2 : Prepare the base
- Take the canvas sheet, mark and cut a square shape measuring 4” x 4” in size.
- Similarly cut and cover canvas sheet with casement fabric by folding the edges and pasting it with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Mark and cut the shape
- Take any waste colourful fabrics and cut them in mug shapes as shown in the image.
STEP 4 : Paint the design
- Take the cut out of the mugs, draw and paint a floral design on it using Fevicryl Fabric Colours Crimson 204, Golden Yellow 209, Lemon Yellow 211, Light Green 212, Orange 217, Pink 218, Ultramarine Blue 223, Cerulean Blue 232, Salmon Pink 265 and Teal Blue 268. Let it dry.
- After drying, stick the mug shapes on the canvas coaster base using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Final look
- Your Fabric coasters are ready to be used.
