Create a stunning fabric beads necklace using dyed fabric and simple painting techniques. Elevate your accessory game with this unique piece adorned with elegant patterns and textures.
STEP 1 : Prepare the Fabric for Dyeing
- We'll be crafting the fabric beads necklace using dyed fabric.
- Take the poplin fabric and experiment with various dyeing techniques like shibori style, tying on pipe, leheriya pattern, and radiating style pattern using rubber bands or thread.
STEP 2 : Dye the Fabric & Cut for Beads
- Take the tied fabric pieces, dampen them slightly with water, and dye them using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black 202 and Crimson 204.
- Once dry, mark and cut triangular shapes from the dyed fabric to make the beads.
STEP 3 : Make the Beads
- Roll the triangular pieces to form beads, securing the ends with Fabric Glue.
- Allow them to dry completely.
STEP 4 : Paint the Design on Beads
- Add simple patterns like polka dots, spiral designs, and zig-zag lines on each bead using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let the paint dry.
STEP 5 : Final Arrangement of the Beads
- Arrange the beads in descending order, starting from the center towards the ends of the necklace.
STEP 6 : Final Attachments
- Attach black glass beads to the bottom side of each fabric bead using Fabric Glue.
- Once dry, connect the fabric beads together using needle and thread, incorporating silver cutdana in between.
STEP 7 : Final look
- Create a loop at one end of the necklace and attach one fabric bead to the other end as a lock. Admire the finished piece!
