We are going to make an aesthetic Dokra Art Fish Candle Holder.
Dokra is an ancient metal-casting art form that originated in the tribal regions of India.
Start by building a fish-like shape from the newspaper.
Attach the small tissue roll to the top of the fish. Make sure that it fits well inside the body of the fish.
Cover the fish structure of the newspaper with masking tape.
Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue all over the masking tape.
Refer the image.
Take Fevicryl Mouldit Resin and Hardener. Mix well to make an even dough.
Take the dough and shape it to make the fish.
Spread the clay evenly around the tape.
Carve lines, and edges and decorate the fish using Clay Modelling Tools.
Stick the coils and shapes and create the details of the tealite holder.
Refer to the image.
Paint the base of the structure with Fevicryl Acrylic Black Colour 02.
To give it the antique gold effect paint it with Acrylic Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
Let it dry.
