You Will Need:

Fevicryl Pearl Colours - White (301), Pearl Metallic Green (357), Fevicryl Sparkling Pearl Colour- Deep Rose(902), Orange(903), Violet(906), Golden Yellow(907), Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Clay Carving Tools, Corrugated Sheet 2no.s size 6”*4” approx., Colour Palette, Water Container

Description :

Traditional Festive prop with a twist that makes it so attractive and pretty. Made this Diya coasters for festive season with Mouldit to create a lovely ambience lite up the atmosphere as well as gifting it to someone.

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take 2 pieces of Corrugated Sheet size 6”*4” approximately, here we cut it into the shapes of Diyas as shown in the image.

STEP 2 : Prepare the dough / clay

Take Fevicryl Mould it – resin base & hardener, mix well to form an even soft dough.

STEP 3 : Prepare the base

Take Fevicryl Mouldit and form as dough, flatten it & apply as a base layer on cutout of diyas. Add some coils on edges. Let it dry. Refer to the image.

STEP 4 : Paint the design

Apply a coat of Fevicryl Pearl Colour - Pearl Metallic Green(357), Fevicryl Sparkling Pearl Colours- Deep Rose(902),Orange(903), Violet(906), Golden Yellow(907).

STEP 5 : Painting the pattern

Take the Mouldit and make thin elongated rope like strips, and create the pattern, Stick it using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Finishing

Begin painting the pattern using Fevicryl Pearl Colour– Pearl White(301).

STEP 7 : Final look

Once ready, Diya Coasters looks like this. Light up the festive season with modest easy technique with least preparations.
