How cute is Diwali DIY that can be made in a jiffy using the things around you and Fevicryl products! A bajot is a chowki that can be used for Gods and diyas too. Read more to learn how you can make your own.

STEP 1 : Source the base
  • We are going to paint the coaster and make the bajot as tealite holder.
  • Take 4 coasters measuring 4” x 4” in size.
STEP 2 : Paint the base.
  • Paint the coasters with the base coat of Acrylic Colour white 27.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Draw and transfer the design
  • Take A4 white paper, draw 2 different designs on it in the size of the coasters on it.
  • Trace the same design on the coasters with yellow carbon paper.
  • Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Paint the design
  • We are going to attach the small legs of Mouldit to the coaster to make the bajot.
  • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
  • Take the dough make small beads out of it. Stick the beads as the legs for the coasters using Fabric Glue.
  • Let it dry.
  • Paint the design with Acrylic Colour White 27, Sky Blue 63 and Neon Pink 018.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Decorate the coasters.
  • Similarly attach the legs to the other coasters also with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
  • Paint the other two coasters with Acrylic Colour Chrome Yellow 03 and Crimson 04.
  • Let it dry.
  • Paint the outline of the design with 3 D Outliner White 707. Let it dry.
  • Enhance the coasters by sticking the ornamental stones, foil mirrors and big mirror in the centre with 3 D Outliner pearl Metallic Gold 352 and Fabric Glue.
  • Leave it to dry completely.
