You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Bronze 355, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Old Clutch, Clay Modelling Tools, Paper Cutter, Pencil, A4 White Paper, OHP Sheet, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Transform an old clutch into a statement accessory with Dokra art-inspired clay designs, celebrating the richness of traditional Indian craft.

STEP 1 : Procure the Base and Build Design

Begin by creating a traditional Dokra Art design on the clutch using Mouldit.

Mix the Mouldit resin base and hardener to form an even dough.

Draw a Krishna and Radha design inspired by Dokra Art on A4 paper, then place an OHP sheet over it.

Start building the design using Mouldit dough, shaping and detailing with clay modelling tools.

Attach the clay figures onto the clutch with Fabric Glue.

Allow it to dry completely.

STEP 2 : Finishing Touches for Clay Work

Use some Mouldit dough to make thick and thin coils and enhance the design around the figures. Adhere the coils using Fabric Glue. Let it dry thoroughly.

STEP 3 : Paint the Design

Apply an Antique Bronze effect by painting the clay design with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02 and Pearl Metallic Bronze 355. Let the paint dry.

STEP 4 : Final Look

Your clutch is now ready with a stunning Dokra Art design, perfect for any occasion.
