You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black, White, Dark Green, Leaf Green, Teal Blue, Neon Pink, Golden Yellow, Prussian Blue, Turquoise Blue, Black, White, Sap Green, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes. Elongated MDF Board (for base), 2 Small Rectangular MDF Boards (for doodle panels), Pencil, Tracing Paper, Clay Modelling Tools, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Create a unique and artistic key holder featuring adorable clay doodles of animals on a vibrant, painted MDF base. This craft combines painting and sculpting to produce a charming and practical piece for your home.

STEP 1 : Prepare MDF Bases

Take one elongated MDF board for the main base and two smaller rectangular MDF boards for the doodle panels.

STEP 2 : Paint Main Base

Paint the elongated MDF board with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black. Allow this base coat to dry completely.

STEP 3 : Trace Doodle Designs

Take the two small rectangular MDF boards. Using a pencil and tracing paper, draw your desired doodle designs (e.g., intricate patterns, outlines for the clay figures).
Trace these designs onto the rectangular MDF boards.

STEP 4 : Sculpt & Attach Clay Doodles

Take Fevicryl Mouldit. Mix the resin and hardener in equal quantities to make an even dough.
Use the dough and clay modelling tools to create small details and shapes, such as birds, elephants, and tortoises.
Once sculpted, carefully stick these clay figures onto the traced designs on the small rectangular MDF boards using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
Allow the clay to dry.

STEP 5 : Paint Clay & Boards

Pick your Fevicryl Acrylic Colours (Dark Green, Leaf Green, Teal Blue, Neon Pink, Golden Yellow, Prussian Blue, Turquoise Blue, Black, White, Sap Green).
Paint the sculpted clay figures and the two small rectangular MDF boards with these vibrant colors.
Ensure the colours are applied neatly, bringing your doodle art to life.

STEP 6 : Assemble Key Holder

Once all painted elements are completely dry, take the two smaller decorated MDF boards and stick them onto the main elongated black MDF base using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
Ensure they are firmly attached.
This completes the final look of your unique clay doodle key holder.
