Description :
A DIY for Mother’s Day, the bond of a mother & daughter beautifully recreated here. A chopping board used as a base, where the two are seen sitting on a swing. Place a message or a phrase within that conveys your love for your Mom, this Mother’s Day.
STEP 1 : Mix Fevicryl Mouldit
- Take Fevicryl Mouldit – resin base & hardener, mix well to make an even soft dough.
STEP 2 : Source the base
- Take plain wooden chopping board.
STEP 3 : Shape the clay to make the elements
- Draw the simple sketch of a mother & daughter on the swing, in the midst of a garden theme. There will be a fence, trees etc that are commonly seen in a garden or park. Translate this sketch on the board, where it would be further developed.
- Take the dough and shape the elements – trees with branches & leaves, the duo on the swing, with fencing around the garden as seen in the image. Make a small placard that says ‘Mom & I”, this would be hung on one of the branches.
- Follow the imageries on the board and stick the elements appropriately, using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Preparing the base
- Paint with a base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - White 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Start painting and final touches
- Paint using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Light Green 12, Orange 17, Pink 18, Violet 25, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32.
- Let it dry.
