You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, White 27, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Used Old Cd, Small Plastic Container, Assorted Mirrors, Assorted Beads, Half Cut Pearls, Tooth Pick, Small Piece of card Board, Corrugated Box, Scissors, Paper Cutter, Colour Palette, Water Container

This Children’s Day, create this beautiful elephant stationery holder with your child to make them understand the importance of animals in their lives, they can gift their friends stationary holder of other animals.

STEP 1 : Source the base material

We are going to make the stationery holder using the old CD, plastic container, card board to make the elephant shape.
Take plain used CD.
Mark and cut the small square shape towards the bottom side edge of the CD to depict the legs of the elephant.
Paint the CD with the first coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
Let it dry.

STEP 2 : Make the shapes

Take the piece of card board to make the head and trunk, the piece of corrugated sheet to make the ear of the elephant and 1 big mirror in the centre of the CD to cover the centre hole.
Mark and cut the head and the trunk, the ear of the elephant appropriately with a pir of the scissors.

STEP 3 : Stick the shapes

Stick the head, trunk, the ears as well as the big mirror aesthetically on the CD with Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.
Refer to the image.

STEP 4 : Paint the elements

Paint the elephant with Acrylic Colour Chrome Yellow 03.
Let it dry.
Enhance and decorate the elephant by sticking the assorted mirrors, the half cut pearls aesthetically using Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry completely.

STEP 5 : Stick the elements

The sticking elements on the elephant body will look like this.
Paint the legs of the elephant with Acrylic Colour Black 02.
Let it dry completely.

STEP 6 : Paint the container

Take the plastic container as the holder for the stationery.
Paint the container with Acrylic Colour Chrome Yellow 03.
Let it dry.
Decorate only the 2 sides of the container as of the elephant using Fabric Glue for sticking.
Let it dry.
Refer to the image your 2 CD in shape of the elephant and the holder will look like this.

STEP 7 : Finishing

Take the plain side of the container and Stick the elephant CD on the front and the rear side of the container using Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.

STEP 8 : Final look

Your stationery holder will look like this.
