You Will Need:

Create adorable car danglers for Father’s Day using clay modelling techniques. This thoughtful and personalized gift will brighten up your dad's car and show him how much you care.

STEP 1 : Source the base material

We are going to make cute car danglers using a corrugated sheet and Mouldit.
Take the corrugated sheet and cut rectangles measuring 7cm x 9cm.

STEP 2

• Take Mouldit resin and hardener, mix well to make an even dough.
• Roll the dough into a thin slab with a rolling pin.
•. Cut rectangles from the slab to match the size of the corrugated rectangles.
•. Cover the corrugated rectangles by sticking the clay slab using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
•. Make 3 such rectangles.

STEP 3

Take some clay to make a few clay motifs like basic tools (pliers, wrench), a superhero sign, and a mug with the message “I love Dad” using clay modelling tools and Fabric Glue.
Stick the clay motifs appropriately on each rectangle with Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry.
Pierce holes on the top side edge of each rectangle.

STEP 4

Take one of the rectangles with the tools, make a pocket on the rectangle using a piece of old jeans.
Stick the pocket appropriately on the rectangle with Fabric Glue.
Paint the rectangle with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, White 27, and Pearl Metallic Silver 351. Let it dry.
Enhance the pocket with dotted lines using 3D Outliner White 707. Let it dry.

STEP 5

Paint the remaining 2 rectangles with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Light Green 12, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Sky Blue 63, and Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let them dry.
Attach the black cord to each rectangle to dangle in the car.
