An adorable Valentine DIY and a cute way to express love is this car dangler. Made with Fevicryl range of products this one gift will serenade your partner with love vibes during each journey they undertake.
STEP 1 : Prepare the base
- We are going to make the car dangler with a ring of jigsaw and a teddy bear with Mouldit.
- Take corrugated sheet, mark and cut the ring measuring 6” in diameter.
STEP 2 : Mix Fevicryl Mouldit
- We are going to cover the ring with Mouldit slab and engrave the jigsaw puzzle motifs on it.
- Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 3 : Roll the dough
- Take the dough, roll it to make a medium thick slab with rolling pin.
STEP 4 : Engrave the patterns
- Mark and cut the ring in the size of the corrugated ring and stick it on the corrugated ring base using Fabric Glue.
- Engraved the jigsaw puzzle motifs on the ring with clay carving tools.
- Let it dry completely.
STEP 5 : Make the base of teddy bear
- We are going to make the teddy bear holding a heart with Mouldit.
- Take the dough, divide in two parts to make the head and the body of the teddy.
STEP 6 : Mould the parts of the teddy
- Make the hands, legs, the body of the teddy , the heart in his hand with the help of the clay carving tools and Fabric Glue for sticking.
- Let it dry.
- Attach and insert the piece of metal wire towards the head of the teddy bear to dangle it in the jigsaw puzzle ring.
STEP 7 : The look of the moulded parts
- Your jigsaw puzzle ring and the teddy will look like this.
STEP 8 : Paint the ring and the teddy
- Paint the ring and the teddy with shades of pink and red by giving small polka dots of the ring using Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Magenta 13, Pink 18, White 27, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Salmon Pink 65 and Cerulean Blue 32.
- Let it dry completely.
STEP 9 : Assembly
- Attach the teddy in the ring with white wool and the pearls.
- Make the loop as well towards the upper side of the ring using the pearl and white wool.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 10 : The final look
- Your dangler with teddy will look like this in the car.
